There are certain conditions that the applicant has to meet with. A few things that the applicants are required to provide (apart from other documents that are required)
A valid travel document, such as a passport;
Details of ties with the country of residence like a job, home, financial assets and family, that will take the applicant back to your country of origin.
Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents now have another option for visiting Canada.
If they want and are eligible to apply they may opt for Parent and Grandparent Super Visa.
This is a long term visa with the applicant having the benefit of staying in Canada upto 2 years
If you want to extend your stay in Canada, you must apply to do so. Check your temporary resident status to make sure you apply before the expiry date.
This will be on your study or work permit, the stamp in your passport or, if you do not have a stamp in your passport, 6 months from the day you entered Canada.
